Let’s get started

Personal Visioning

Developing a personal vision statement will help you shape your life instead of drifting through circumstances.

I work with individuals and couples over the course of three months, meeting once a week, and engage them in a process of discovery about what they want their future to hold. The process involves deep self-reflection, the exploration of one's priorities and values, and strategizing ways to align their life with their true desires.

At the end of the process, clients receive a document that outlines findings from the discovery process, a vision statement, and a set of goals, objectives, and strategies to help achieve their vision.

Business & Organization Visioning

Business and organization visioning works to align leadership and stakeholders, helping to ensure a commitment to a shared purpose.

I will take businesses and organization through a set of strategic exercises to define their ideal future state. This process typically involves imagining what success looks like in 5 to 10 years and clarifying the values, mission, and goals that will guide the journey. Based on your business or organization’s needs, we will determine the length of time, exact exercises, and critical stakeholders necessary for a successful visioning process

At the end of the process, clients receive a report that documents the process, a vision statement, a new or revised mission statement if requested, and a set of goals, objectives, and strategies to support the vision and mission statement.

Community Visioning

Community visioning helps identify common values, priorities, and goals that can guide future policy and land use decisions.

I work with communities over the course of three to six months to develop a vision statement and set of goals. As part of the visioning process, I help communities create community engagement plans and run public meetings to establish a broadly supported vision.

When I engage communities for a visioning process, I help:

  • Ensure that a variety of voices are heard and considered.

  • Create collaborations to determine mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Draw out wishes and solutions that are more likely to be sustainable and supported in the long term.

At the end of the project, clients receive a report that documents the process and the results, including an agreed-upon vision statement and set of supporting goals. The process and report can be structured to fit within a larger comprehensive planning process.

Community Engagement

Quality community engagement helps decisions become more informed and connected to the actual needs and priorities of the community.

Under this service, I help create and execute an engagement plan to involve community members in decision-making processes. My community engagement services aim to build strong relationships between organizations (such as local governments and nonprofits) and the communities they serve. When community members contribute to projects or policies, they are more likely to support and maintain them over time.

I design and facilitate:

  • Large public meetings.

  • Focus groups and targeted interviews.

  • Questionnaires and surveys.

  • Booths at community events.

  • More unusual and fun engagement efforts, such as running games and story telling sessions.
